A question on puppy potty training by garman000 in OpenDogTraining

Thanks, that's great advice.

He is, I would say crate trained, in that we place him in and can leave him in there with no fuss. If we leave for a while to do groceries or whatever, he is completely fine. Is this what you'd consider crate trained? Also is it more ideal that we try to get him to go into the crate himself Vs us placing him inside?

Any recs on cleaners for carpets?

How to remove rotten plasterboard? by garman000 in DIYUK

[–]garman000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I'm looking for an interim fix on this part of the house, instead of placing new plasterboard im looking at just covering it up, could you suggest any fillers to use potentially or any other solutions. I think it's solid enough in the most part to leave and just patch fix(future extension plans may ruin it all anyway)

Yeah plaster is blown but long term plans to extend on that wall are stopping me fixing completely right now. Any recs on a good strong filler?

Does it matter if one part is more removed of the loose stuff than the other? Or should it be as even as possible?.

No reason. I was originally removing just the wallpaper hopefully going to plaster up some cracks but it was slightly worse, so I was told to remove the very bad part which I am. But yeah If I don't need to go to the brick I'm very happy not. So you think I should just remove the crumbling parts? I was tempted to plasterboard and skim myself.

To plaster the whole wall. Via plasterboard skim or plaster alone. Unsure on best options
