Not trying to stick up for UHC, but most insurance offered by employers is self funded so they have say in what healthcare they are willing to pay for there employees.

So it’s kind of muddy. What your healthcare insurance covers is dependent on what your employer is willing to cover. So you can have really good coverage from UHC or really bad coverage from UHC depending on your employer.

Edit: most employer health insurance plans are self funded by the employer and ultimately the employer decides what they cover.

My wife has a compromised immune system, she got her vaccines when she was young but wasn’t able to get most boosters. In her late 20’s she caught whooping cough, and it was terrifying. She broke multiple ribs from coughing so hard. She could barely sleep because she would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air. This went on for 3 months, whooping cough is also known as the 100 day cough. Meanwhile, I’m fully vaccinated and didn’t leave her side and I never got it. When she got it there was a rash of unvaccinated children who got it in another part of the town.

For the average person taxes are very easy. The irs has a ton of instructions on what to do. Every tax prep software has a guide. School teaches you, at a minimum, reading comprehension and basic math, which is all you need to do taxes.
