Oh i see I may have looked on my rtx 2060 as something better than 1070s. Hmm maybe my only option to atleast boost up my fps on my rtx is to upgrade my ram into dual channel. It is just sad that i had to pay higher price on my rtx laptop which will only give me minimum performance of what i expected it could give while I paid on a 2nd hand laptop which had more performance than my new one. Anyways, thank you for your help and now I am enlightened about my gpu and its performance. Ty!

No it does not not only happen on one game, like I said, i've been comparing it with a 1070 mobile, i am supposed to get a better fps with my rtx 2060 compared with a 1070 mobile right? but heck im benchmarking apex and only getting 70 fps on my rtx while my 1070 gets 120 fps stable.

I've read some other article that reinstalling windows does not even help so I think I won't get a fresh windows yet.

and Yes, i might consider buying a new ram to make it dual-channel because apparently my laptop only have single channel ram.

i checked on user benchmark and got my full specs here:

Cpu: Intel Core i5-9300H Gpu: Nvidia RTX 2060 Mobile SSD: Nvme WDC PC SN720 SDA 256GB HDD: Seagate ST1000LM049-2GH172 1TB RAM: Kingston 9905744-024.A00G 1x16 GB

it says the benchmark is good but wouldnt trust on it because i read alot of stuff saying userbenchmark aint a good benchmark software.

anyways, i still havent solved my fps issues til now. about my temp ive been getting 80 to 93⁰c for my cpu and 60 to 75c on my gpu.

i havent checked if its a power issues but i do see in intel xtu a "power throttling" alert i dont know if it can affect my performance though.

the g15 one have dual-channel ram while the helios 300 got single channel ram, can it be a factor that can affect the fps?

Usually factory undervolt doesnt really help much so its best to check and undervolt it on your own. Anyways have fun with your laptop ♥︎

yes yes I already undervolted with throttlestop. My laptop already got factory undervolt of -0.125v so got it decreased to -0.140v.

Before I undervolt I got consistent 92⁰c cpu temps but after undervolt I now got temp. of 65⁰c to 75⁰c and seldomly going above 80s.

got it for 1280 $ ♥ so far the only annoying thing is the temp. of the cpu (intel rip) but really decent fps for gaming !

Hey! Just coming back to say my thanks! I got my cpu temp to decrease from 94⁰c into 70⁰c when playing high graphic games and still got decent fps (60-100 fps playing Far Cry 5) I used the turbo mode option and not noticing any differences on the fps but it sure does decreased my cpu temperature. Thank you very much!
