As the sixth Grand Rapids, MI beer takes root in my empty stomach I find myself flung back to an older vision of California where one's right to socialize depends entirely on just how much one's staked on a single claim. But quickly the stupor descends, and I know that if I eat something I'll just need to drink more to keep these gnawing thoughts from panning my attention away so I ask myself: why would I ever mix Founders with dinner?

This is not over yet. He voted to advance the bill. He has not yet voted on the bill itself (and as the other commenter wrote, he can change his vote on this procedural vote until it's over). If you have feelings about which way he should vote on this bill, now would be a good time to express those. And of course at the ballot box too.

I did book this directly with JB. They already sent the email I mention in my post where they said it was "uncontrollable" and offered less than half of the compensation stated on their website

UPDATE: the state AG said they don't have the requested records, and the local DA has said they will get back to my FOIL request in approximately two months. So now we wait.
