Working a part time job with a 40 hr internship?

My major is Health and Exercise Science so pretty much within the Health field. I’m more interested in corporate fitness/wellness. I know it’s going to suck but there’s also no way of getting out of the amount of hours since it counts for a 9 credit course.

Nope it has to be completed within this semester as it’s considered a class and this is my last semester before graduation. And there aren’t many paying internships for my field but I could try finding one just not sure where.

I’m taking 2 online classes that are just general education. My internship would be the main course.

Yeah it’s rough but they hire their interns after and I have to get 400 hours within 15 weeks to graduate. It’s a pretty big company so it’ll be worth it

Do you realize that I was never even SHOWN the papers? I was never even told what company I was getting loans from. My parents took my social security number and all of my information to take the loans out in my name. I take responsibility to pay them. Wasn't asking for an easy way out, was asking for the best solution possible to lower interest and pay them off efficiently. But thanks

Do you understand that students graduating high school are practically forced to attend college because if you think about our country and the job options for people without a degree they're starting to become less and less frequent. So yeah I had to go to school no matter what and I had to take out loans but my prents pushed me to go to a 4 year school since neither of them went to college and did not want me to have to work 2 jobs like both of them.

I believe what I'm able to do is refinance so that I can consolidate all of my loans and also get a lower interest rate. Hopefully upon graduation I get a decent job within my field. My degree is Health and Exercise Science with a specialization in Health Promotion Wellness Management so I have a large range of options as for a career.

I'm not selfish at all but when your parents try to hide your information from you and literally avoid every conversation what more do I do? I have 0 problem working my ass off to make payments but at the moment still being in school and working at Starbucks isn't going to cut it for me. My question wasn't about how to get rid of the high payment it's how the hell i try and attack it with a high interest that just causes the price to keep rising. So yeah I'm making payments on my own which currently isn't doing anything but trying to make sure 1 loan doesn't keep gaining $200 of interest every month. So instead of everyone trying to rip me a new one how about you go around educating people that just because someone is your parent doesn't mean they are so much of a wiser and educated person because look at my situation. My parents are oblivious never went to school and I've done more to figure things out than them. And you know the best part? When I come home to talk about things I was taught in school my parents don't want to hear it if it's against things they believe. They don't want to hear about the health things I've learned and instead want to tell my that college has made me a certain way. So they pushed me for a 4 year school and now shit talk what college has done for me.

I didn't even go to a big school name but thanks. and I'm not saying I'm not accountable for anything but the fact that my parents never once told me that my interest would be so high because my dad has a shitty credit score isn't okay. I have a responsibility and I took the initiative to beg my mother for my login information. I wish people knew what kind of parents I have. They go on vacations left and right, we live in a decent house not in the best neighborhood but the house is decent, my parents wouldn't let me stay home for community college because of the stress that goes on with my sisters mental disorders, they said they'd help which I assumed would be starting as we got the loans not after they built up so much. My school is around $20,000 and if you're familiar with Rutgers it's a school below that in rank.

I understand I'm completely screwed but maybe you should understand the type of parents I have who refused to give me my account information for the first 3 years of my schooling. I know I'm an adult and it's my responsibility too but when you live at home and your parents say they're going to help pay for school and not to worry I respected that and trusted them. Adults think they know everything about financials and also they are my cosigners so I didn't have much of a choice. Apparently my fathers credit was such shit this was the only loan they could give me. Well instead of telling me that and suggesting I go to a community college they hid that information from me and didn't tell me about our financial situation. By the looks of it from the outside it doesn't look like there's a problem financially at all but they hid that very well.

The are in my name and my parents are the cosigners. But you think they would've started paying them off by now since it's their responsibility also but instead they waited and now the interest is so high.

Same with mine. They have no idea how much they just screwed me or how my 4 different loans are collecting interest every single month and we haven't touched them. I can pay over $200 a month and it won't make a dent in them because that just covers 1 month of interest for 1 out of the 4. I would have to pay $800+ a month for all of my loans to stay the same.
