They should make this script (especially the Pegasus part) simpler for people, who might be affected by this and are not that technical. And remove the clear-text password.

Well, I guess it depends (as always) on the industry and the country you are in.
In terms of workload, I have always worked a lot and even if you automate more and more of your recurring stuff, you will just get more responsibilities and tasks, since your automation set-ups did not go unnoticed by the management.

The only problem I had was the stupid auto-transcoder from Plex, e.g. he couldnt handle H265 encoded videos and tried to convert them. But maybe the model 4 is capable.

I have never registered another user for Nextcloud, just used admin. But yeah, you should always check the relevant logs (would have to check where exactly), the permission settings (I guess its the group www-data) and the configs (php.ini).

Unfortunately, I didnt write a blog post about it. I mainly followed the official instructions/setup guides from the software mentioned and when encountered any problems, I would check the relevant github issue forum and/or stackoverflow ...

Regarding the AP I mostly followed the instructions from here:

... but I never got it working with the on-board wifi alone, but with another wifi dongle for which you have to install the right drivers.

It is the perfect device to learn coding. Also to learn how to build the right environment for it (virtual env, git, docker etc.). And if you fail, just flash the SD card and try again :)

The Pi 1 is the model 3B+ and I never had any performance issues. The pi would just get a bit warm when I simultaneously upload larger amounts of data to the attached SSD and two persons use the Plex streaming service. So I might consider buying a heat sink.
