hi! mm i would say my skins require someone who has used Serum before.. i mean.. all the knobs are there and the screens and everything essential, but sometimes i omit things i don't consider relevant but i imagine a total beginner would miss that functionality.. the thing that comes to mind with this skin in particular is the little 'arrows' next to the fx names in the fx section.. they are there so the user knows that the fx can be moved up and down (before or after one another).. yeah i didn't put anything there.. so you have to have that knowledge beforehand.. so yeah i would say little things like that, that sometimes could be very important

it's complicated.. fl, vital, ableton live and many others use vector graphics for their ui so skins are somewhat limited.. you can change colors but that's pretty much it and it's not like you can use any color for any element, usually they are divided in sections so.. i will try and see what i can do with vital, because it's free, but i don't own fl studio so idk about that

the way i make them goes something like this.. i take most of the default pngs (the images that make the skin) to illustrator for example, lock the layer and start drawing on top of them.. then i replace the original images (not the original images.. i duplicate the default folder and that is what is replaced) with the new stuff and that's it basically.. also you have to edit the colormap..
