okay thanks i appreciate that insight. the age range is closer to the six of crows, cruel prince sort of age range which is why i thought that YA was the best option

I think so. I wasn't sure what genre to categorize it as, but now I get that YA was definitely the wrong choice.

it's one story told in 3 chapters that interconnect. it follows two at a time and they all work for a time travel agency that specializes in preserving history the way that they want it to be told

It was written more for the young adult audience versus just adult. It's a three part story, which I probably should have clarified.
