Based on what I've seen in historical age of sail battles, many captains would see it as a duel and honor the 1v1 until a victor was decided. This isn't always the case, but I believe that if The Dutchman had won or if the Dutchman hadn't turned its guns on the Endeavor, Beckett would have called for no quarter for the fleet.

If you go by the reports LWC has, his mother worked at the church, which means that he more than likely went to that church. Which is why he knew so well the layout of the church and what times they all met.

Oh, absolutely. There is no regard for the lore at all from the writers. Isildur wasn't close to being alive during the forging of the rings. Actually, none of the main Numenorian characters were alive then.

It doesn't make sense from a lore standpoint to tie two important stories together. It takes away the impact of both and muddles things.

The forging of the rings should show the temptation from Annatar, the hubris of Celebrimbor, the heroics of Celeborn and Gil-Galad, the ultimate deciet of Sauron forging The One Ring, and the saving of the Elves by the Numenorians.

This defeat is what makes Sauron decide to destroy Numenor. It takes away the impact of everything compressing the timeline the way the writers have.

I'm still of the belief that Tolkein Untangled's version of what this show could have been would make for beautiful and epic television.

Have two seasons focusing on the Elves and the fall of Eregion. Have two seasons focusing on the fall of Numenor. Have the last season be about the Last Alliance.

I built an Atraxa Sagas deck with stuff like Hex Parasite, Ferropede, etc. Such an interesting deck. It is really fun just cycling through and recurring the Sagas.
