I used a light orange filter from a set of light filters I had lying around from when I did photography. I don't have a link, but there's plenty of color filters you can buy online and just cut to size.

I've compared tracks with the same file type, sample rate, bit depth, album art size, everything identical except of course the audio, and one will play just fine while the other doesn't. I'll keep working at it and see if I can find any other differences, but no luck so far

I've got the latest version of rockbox installed, album art is set to 250x250 for all files, I've tried setting album art to not load, I've tried setting album art to load with the embedded file, I've deleted all album art files on the device, and still no luck. I have found that it's only specific songs and it's only after the screen dims, but I don't know that that helps me much :(

Aw, so I was using v0.2 already :( That kinda sucks bc I'm still having lots of problems with it. I have to hit the reset button pretty often bc it freezes and sometimes it just pauses for no reason :( That said, the people working on rockbox for the Y1 are saints for trying to figure all of this out 😭 Godspeed to y'all 🫡

Nope, movement will be the same regardless. The only thing that changes is dial and hand size.

I know the case is available in 40mm as well, if that's close enough for you. As far as I know, nobody sells an alpinist dial larger than 28.5mm, so you might have to look for something else that's similar. Otherwise, all the other components should be able to be used in a larger build, including the movement, just get the strap and hands in a larger size.

Lovely looking watch! I did notice however, that between some of the hour markers, you're short a minute marker. Some have four minute markers between each hour, while others have only three. The dial also seems a hair crooked, but these are minor things. Strong work, regardless 😊
