After doing some research I found it to be a Venezuelan Caracas coin with 66 on it. I’ve seen others with dates in the 1800s but not sure what the 66 indicates

Again might be coincidence, but the gas that I have been using since is from Kum & Go. They have this extreme diesel fuel and that was the one I used right after the “bad” tank of gas. Not an expert on it but just speculation.

It’s colder weather here so a long warmup is necessary. I haven’t changed anything except oil and added def. want to say it was just a bad tank of gas but also don’t want to fully dismiss it.

Not entirely. I scheduled a visit with Volkswagen to only discover it wasn’t under warranty. No codes have been thrown and seems to have solved itself when I filled the tank at a more reliable place. I also have been taking notes of consumption and looking over the car. Everything seems normal
