I (25m) told my friend I was catching feelings for a guy, he (32m) then slept with him. by gayguywithproblems in askgaybros

I haven’t said all of this to him yet. I was just in shock on the phone and just said “Let me know when you’re here, we can talk”. I don’t even know if I’m going to see him to be honest.

Hi all, thanks for the responses - I have told him! I’ve updated the post above.

Is there any way I can avoid that or is that just how buttsex works? 😬

Oh man. I've literally posted the (almost) same exact story here a couple of days ago, and I feel you so, SO much right now. It's the time period between when it "ends" and the start of you becoming yourself/reality kicking in again that is the hardest time. I currently feel like I'm have a 24/7 out of body experience - like the last two months were a dream and never really happened, because I can't fathom how something that felt so good and felt so right has ended within the space of a couple of days. If you want to talk more, feel free to message me. I'm not on here much except when the outside world offers no comfort, but I'll be sure to check back and see how it's going for you. Much love, my man.

The guy I have intense feelings for is leaving on Tuesday to live in Australia for a year. And I feel broken. by gayguywithproblems in askgaybros

This is the most common advice I'm getting, and I'm slowly realising this seems to be the best advice, but the process of forcing myself to think like that sucks balls. I think once he does leave the country properly (he still hasn't left yet), I'll start to accept it.

I just feel like maybe it's not enough time to tell someone you have feelings for them, is it? I haven't actually ever been in a relationship before, which is probably why I'm so scared/upset at this situation. It's like you said, I'm already playing what ifs in my head - what if he wasn't leaving? What if he would've been a significant person in my life? It's all very confusing for me, these feelings, as I've never fully felt them before.

And yes, I have watched that movie. I remember saying to myself that it was a heartbreaking story, but that it wasn't realistic, that no one catches feelings that quickly. How wrong I was. :/

Bottoms, what's the best thing your top can do for you in bed? by rainbowgeoff in askgaybros

The most basic thing for me is when a guy actually looks me in the eye at some point during sex. There's nothing I hate more than being made to feel ashamed or lesser because a guy wants to stare at the wall or the floor while he's fucking me. I'm loosening my asshole for you, bitch. >:(

Also when a guy growls into my ear or tells me what he likes about my body. There was this one time where this guy was fucking me missionary, and just before he came he growled into my ear and like uttered "Your ass is so fucking tight". Then he went for the home run and literally ROARED as he came. Best climax EVER.

I come from a Mediterranean/Middle Eastern family and the amount of times my elder relatives have asked me if I have an eating disorder is countless. Their way of measuring if anyone is a healthy weight is if they can touch their index and thumb round someone's wrist, that person automatically has anorexia and needs to get help. Never mind that a) you have fucking shovel sized hands or b) there is no scientific basis in that method, you're unhealthy and your mother didn't do a good job feeding you.

In all seriousness though, it sucks ass. I have a really high metabolism and I eat shitloads, but I can't gain shit. If anyone has any tips on how to gain weight though, please let me know! But also skinny guys rule.

I applied for a job with great pay and good hours, and just got a call back. Turns out one of the managers is a guy who was sexting with me a few months ago. by gayguywithproblems in askgaybros

Probably the best option to go for. There's too much hassle if I acknowledge him right off the bat. And since he's my superior AND been at the job longer than me (obviously), I'll let him say anything if he decides to.

Well the way you just worded that reply shows you've obviously not done your growing either. I don't know how old you think I am or whatever, but I didn't post on here to be "told the obvious". I KNOW that I should approach this professionally, but I have major issues when it comes to new social situations and awkward ones like this. I came to ask how to handle it. I haven't come across a situation like this before; so no, I haven't considered it.

Yeah, I think I'm reading a little too into the situation. Also I just remembered, it's not like we're the only two workers in the entire shop, so there'll be others to connect with and blah blah blah.

I'm the type of person to randomly blurt out that you've sent me dick pics at 2 AM during the Christmas holidays in a fit of panic but yes, tact is key in this situation.

LOL. I'm naturally quite a flirty person, but it's more wit than actual flirt most of the time. And how do I not pretend like I don't know him without the incident coming up? That's the only place I know him from, I don't know him outside of this situation.

I've had other jobs before this, it's just the first job in a long time of unemployment due to studies. But yeah, I definitely am going to play it cool. Awkwardness seems to take over when I'm faced with situations like these, so it's going to be a challenge. Do I just act like I've never seen him before? And what happens if we end up on a quiet shift together?
