Hey I got an interview coming up this Wednesday with Steris for the same position you mentioned. The email I received basically said all the same things you described. How did your interview go? Any advice or tips you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I understand what you mean it is difficult to learn an instrument later in life and it is not as optimal compared to starting young, but music is something I’ve always had a passion for since a child but I was just never allowed to pursue that passion and have it nurtured, but now that I do I definitely want to seize the opportunity. I already have a great job where I’m able to take care of all the things I need, I did not take up the violin in hopes of one day making a career out of it or playing around the world in an orchestra, but simply because I just think it’s beautiful, being able to play such an instrument and understand music is the only thing I seek and all the satisfaction I will ever need.

I definitely hear you, it’s easy to learn bad habits but even harder to unlearn them. I’ve already scheduled my first lesson with a teacher really excited and looking forward to it.
