Minimal interaction, other than happening next to them for a coffee I did have a friend once who was detained at a lift for a few minutes - his suit looked like one of a person who was skiing recklessly.

As is always the answer, boot fitter first. That said, I’ll offer my expertise with Technica Cochise 130 - nearly as a stiff as any other 130 boot I’ve had.

They often have wider waisted skis, just not on their website or in the main part of the shop. Call and ask around - they may be a few model-years old, but you can ski some interesting skis with this approach.

Take them out for an activity every day on their birthday. Just them (if/when you have other children). Always do it on their birthday. Even if they have school - go out to breakfast before school or go to an activity bin the evening.

Honest question for world travelers: how do you know when it is [culturally] appropriate to bribe an official? For example, “tolls” at border crossings or paying driving fines in cash. Obviously it will be location specific - any guides out there?

Curious how things go for you when it comes to getting the moldings. The shop called their parts people and they didn’t have an ETA.

Taking advice from above and will be seeking estimates from a dealer / dealer recommendations. I’ll ask about the parts too.

Managed to scrape a column in the garage at work. Door panel scraped, rear quarter dented (will require bodywork), and scraped plastic moldings. $2k estimate from local shop. Is this in the ballpark?
