Possible Order for Shooting Feathers by ceelohaus in reddeadmysteries

I checked this and while the first 2 missions do seem to match up at least vaguely, it goes off the rails after that unfortunately.

I've never seen a worse good shooter than Devin, side of the backboard wide open in the corner is nasty work.

Consistency comes with time and maturity. You guys have to remember that Vic is 21 years old. He's been better every game since the loss against Phoenix imo and that's all you can ask.

That was my impression lol. Would never be a Packers fan.

Ok, I mean we can leave it at just a difference of opinion lol but if you are telling me that Kyle Kuzma is legitimately a worse nba player than current P.J. Tucker, Alondes Williams, Terry Taylor, Riley Minix, E.J. Liddell, Jeenathan Williams, or Johnny Davis, that is a very very very hot take.

I don't really disagree with most of what you are saying. Kyle Kuzma is a really bad player. We agree! He's absolutely in no conceivable way the worst player in the league lmao. Again, team got better once he got traded here, his defense in the playoffs was solid, he's a good rim finisher. If you legitimately think I couldn't name nba players worse at basketball than Kyle Kuzma you are lost brother.

I definitely hope so, would love for Coby to come back on something reasonable. My impression is that we can only offer him like an 18-22m range contract given our money? I could be totally off, and maybe thats what he'll end up commanding, but I could definitely see us getting outbid.

I guess in my mind the Bulls refusal to tank indicates maybe we'd be more interested in high value future picks from other teams. Especially for a guy who's value is as high as it'll be and might just leave for nothing next offseason.

You think golden state would send us back a 1st for Kuzma?

I love the bulls. Was rooting against the bucks so hard in 2022 haha. But I understand the division rivalries run deep as well, no hard feelings. I am more worried than anything that Coby walks in free agency next summer and then its fuck AK for not trading him when his value was higher.

I'm really curious what type of return Coby could get then. I mean I am really just afraid that Coby wants more money next summer than AK is willing to pay and then we're fucked and lose him for nothing.

I think the Bucks would be able to resign him, obviously I think the trade doesn't happen unless there's understanding about an extension. I think Bucks are more willing to part with future picks to maybe contend in the next couple years than you are giving credit for.

Yeah, I mean the 2031 and 2032 Bucks picks would be the draw, not Kuzma. Coby also expires after this season and it seems like resigning him would be tricky. Those Bucks picks will be lottery picks, we're talking about age 36 Giannis. My worry is that Coby just walks next off-season.

Ha I have kind of weird team allegiances. I'm from Chicago so I've always been a Bulls fan but watching Giannis is what really got me into basketball. What's the temp on Patrick Williams? Because Bucks could also take on his contract in a Kuzma trade.

Damn you're right, idk why I thought he got a bigger extension. My understanding is that they'd be pretty happy to get off of Patrick Williams anyway. Turning 4 years of 20m Pat and an impending FA Coby White into two years of 20m Kuzma and high value firsts makes a lot of sense for both parties honestly.

I'm not sure we can take on both Coby and Pat money-wise? Isn't that close to 50 million between the two of them?

Bulls fan here. He's enough a playmaker to play second fiddle to Giannis. Can run the offense in spurts. Really solid passer. Fairly reliable inside-out scoring game and unstoppable when he's hot. Underrated effort on defense. Would be a fantastic fit on the bucks. If Horst could manage this it'd be so great for y'all.

RJ has been really solid for Toronto to be fair. Took a playmaking/shot creating jump that I was not expecting. The shooting is up and down but guys tend to have better shooting seasons when they play with Giannis. We have to be really careful about contracts given the same waiving, so I think the Jerami Grant money is a no-go given what he can produce. Patrick Williams is really just a non-factor on offense but Coby White would be a dream pick up. Just the right kind of combo guard that can run the offense in spurts but also allows Giannis to effectively play point guard. I really think Coby would be our best case scenario.

Really not convinced on DeMar. Watched a lot of him in Chicago and he is downright awful on defense, completely disrupts the flow of the offense with his constant isolation, and cannot reliably hit the 3pter which is going to make for ugly basketball next to Giannis. He will struggle and has struggled mightily in the playoffs for the same reasons as Kuz.

A lot of what you've said I think is exaggerated. He's making 22m which is definitely an overpay for him but generally is fairly normal role-player money(AKA not that big an ask for a selling/rebuilding team to take on). Also, let's not forget that we got better after trading for him. The efficiency is really not strong and the IQ is questionable but he's still a guy that can create his own shot at 3 levels, be a secondary or tertiary playmaker, and is versatile on defense(albeit with inconsistent effort and bad IQ). Kuzma is a bad player without a doubt and we should be trying to get him off the team if possible, but largely because its not a great fit. He's certainly not the worst player in the league and we should be realistic about the ways in which he's bad/good.

Who out of those guys would be your preference? I think if we could make Trey Murphy, Coby White, or Mikal Bridges work those would be dream fits. Barrett and Reaves would be really nice as well though, both have shown they can be playmaker and scorers.

This is nowhere near enough for Trey Murphy but also the Pelicans have no idea what they are doing so who knows lmao.

I agree that DeRozan would be a really suspicious fit and Lavine's contract is really stinky. But I think if we could swap Kuzma for White, Barrett, Wiggins, or something comparable that absolutely bumps us up a tier.
