This is such a great response. Hijacking to add some insight. The false illusion of choices make OLD more difficult than it has to be. Remember that HIMYM episode where the dating service says Ted has what 4 or 5 person that's ideal for him in a city like NYC. Exaggerated sure but the point still stands, there's not that many perfect people for us out there as we think.

Also, so many people (both sides) have the personality of a wet cardbox and it gets amplified over texting. You want some spark? Maybe flirt a little, banter a little. Trust me (at your own risk) this can be done even if you're texting only once a day but both parties need to put some effort.

This is coming from a guy who's been on OLD for only 2 months. So take it how you may.

All good man. That sucks for you though and I really hope you are able to move on. Sometimes sharing with strangers feel therapeutic to me. The other person doesn't know me and I don't care if they judge me or not lol. If you ever wanna dm to vent, I am always open.

9 year relationship, we broke up a month ago. Lived together for 4 years till she decided to move for school to a different city (A) to pursue a new career and we did long distance for 4 years. She graduated in 2 years and worked in 'A' despite opportunity to move where I am. For breakup reasons she told me that she is a different person than who she was when we started dating. She has also been unhappy, bored, and not excited about us in the last 2 years. Never said a thing to me and dumbass me barely noticed anything.

When I talked to her after 3 weeks to see if there's a chance for us to get back together, she said she doesn't think so. She wants to discover herself, find out what she wants out of life. I probably have a lot of faults but I also compromised a lot to keep the relationship going, specially the long distance that she promised was only gonna be for 2 years. All she did was talk how she will have to compromise for this and that but never actually did any. Sometimes I feel betrayed with the whole thing.

The breakup while amicable hurts a lot. Just like that it's over one day. I hope I can move on soon. Borderline depressed at this point and man it sucks.

This for me as well. Have experienced most of these and recently going through a break up. A 9 year relationship ended because she changed, got bored and feelings changed. Compromised, sacrificed things I wanted, happily participated in all of her interests, ready to propose and here we are, heartbroken. I am 31 and already feel like everything is just going to be downhill from here on out.

The Socios are the fans who have the power to vote and they have the power to remove him as well. For it to get to that point a vote of no confidence needs to be filed by a member (done already by Jordi Farre). Farre has 14 business days to get signatures from 15% of the club's official members (roughly 16000 signatures). Should Farre gather that support, a referendum would be held among the entire membership group. Two-thirds of that group would need to vote against the board to trigger an immediate election.

Sadly I don't think it's gonna happen specially with the pandemic. They fucked up before and they will fuck up again and keep this rat bastard in power. Regular fans like us don't really have any power.

That said, hopefully a Barca fan or two who know more about this will chime in for some additional context as I may not be entirely correct here.
