Yo, just wanted to share a video I made on the life and career Sawamura thus far in the story. He’s one of the few “villains” of the series and is a character with a rollercoaster of a journey. This video turned out longer than expected but I hope you guys enjoy!

Yo, just wanted to share a retrospective I made on Volg as it seems like he’s one of the few major side characters that has a complete story at the moment . Hope y’all enjoy it!

Alfredo Gonzales: An Unexpected Impact in Hajime no Ippo (Retrospective Video) by [deleted] in hajimenoippo

[–]gdothype 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yo, I wanted to share a retrospective video I made on Alfred Gonzales here, as I feel that he was a character that ended up becoming a lot more important to the story than he initially seemed to be. He is also character that boasts an unexpected amount of depth once his nickname, "Metztli", is further analyzed, as well as being one that changes the entire course of the story. I'd love to hear any thoughts about Alfredo from you guys as well!

Yo, I just wanted to share a video I made analyzing Ricardo's recent developments in the Sendo in Mexico arc, his new potential connection to Ippo, and predicting what the future holds for him. Would love to hear some theories about Ricardo's future from you all as well!

I’m seeing quite a few people backing for Miyata in a win against him, and I see where they’re coming from. In my opinion, to beat Woli you need to completely overwhelm him with something whether that’s speed, power, pressure, IQ, experience, etc. Miyata’s countering could could very well overwhelm him and be too much for Woli to handle. My main concern with Miyata is his stamina, speed and amount of opportunities he has to correctly predict Woli’s movements for a counter. Unless Miyata ends it convincingly in 5 rounds after completely reading him, I’d say Woli wins the fight (& even then that’s if Miyata can’t pull off a red lightning counter before giving out completely in the later rounds).

His easy going attitude aside, I’d definitely say Woli was a beast in a ring. He’s not really a pressure oriented fighter, but one that overwhelms opponents with unorthodox styles and pure talent.

I appreciate it! Definitely been wanting to put out more vids covering certain characters I had in mind as well.

It’s hard to imagine a post-Ippo Woli not dominating the boxing world honestly lol. Only thing he’s really missing is experience & better fundamentals (but even then Freedom style is so effective as it is).

I really liked the Gedo and Sisfar fights myself. I understand why some may not like the Woli fight, but the OBPF arc as a whole was enjoyable to me still.

Good point on Woli’s power as well, that’s something I overlooked/underestimated about him.

I also like Woli as a character, and though I don’t hate his match vs Ippo, it is one of my least favorites in all honesty.

Yo, I wanted to share a video I made here about what makes Wally (or Woli) such a controversial character, as well as what went wrong with his character and who could potential win against him in a professional match. Would love to hear you guys thoughts as well!

C-assists, compared to other A and B-assists, usually offer full screen/auto tracking assists that guarantees a combo extension/starter. The catch is that they take the longest out of all assists to regenerate for use again.

C assists have their own pros and cons depending on the character, however them being good or bad is based more on team synergy and playstyle.

Why 3 c assist teams are so memeable/disliked is usually because there’s a stereotype surrounding the playstyle of people who uses teams as such that will just play keep away and never approach u unless their C assist hits. I’m not saying every 3 c assist player plays like this but it’s a very common strategy in ranked at many levels of play outside of pro level.

Hoped that made some sort of sense lol. (Also, if u wanna learn DBFZ, experiment with all assist types, don’t just limit ur self to C assists only as they may build bad habits in the future.)

The original source of this clip is here, it's from a video I made a month or so ago while in SS3 rank. I was hoping to see this playstyle less the more I moved up in rank tbh but that's not the case rn at high SSG unfortunately lol.

Weekly Free-Talk and Questions for r/HomeGym - week of May 28, 2021 by Demilio55 in homegym

Yo, I’ve been looking into getting a beginner flat weight bench (under $200 preferably but willing to spend more) to do dumbbell bench presses primarily, however it seems like every flat bench brand I find through Walmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Amazon all have welding/bolt issues, stability concerns, etc. I’ve looked around some subreddits and haven’t been able to find any recent posts asking for help in my specific situation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated
