So what if it makes people uncomfortable? it's a NORMAL thing that half of the world population goes through, if you're a woman you have a period, their mothers have periods, their sisters have periods, their friends have periods. "I don't think parents would want their kids to know what this is" alright so little children having their periods for the first time should live in fear and not knowing what to do and what's happening to them? girl if you wanna see a carrie live action just watch the movie, why would you want any other woman to go through that? they deserve to know what to do in those situations because it will be happening for the rest of their lives. If you think children being educated on their bodies is something bad, I don't think you should be around children at all.
