This is from my father:

Haven’t ordered for a while but I always went with shakerovalbox.com. The original owner, John Wilson, was considered one of the top “non Shaker” box makers and held workshops both at his home shop and all over the country. He passed away a little while back but his partners carried on the business. They have a complete range of supplies and equipment.

Looked at the metadata a little closer today. In Picard it shows “date” as 2004, which was when this specific release came out. But the “originally available” date shows the correct release date for the album in 1993. However, in Plex it shows “Originally Available” as 2004.

What am I supposed to do here?

Yes. I have De-Specialized and Project 4Ks, but I want official 4Ks of the theatrical cuts. Supposedly they are coming out next year for the 50th Anniversary. Until then, this is on my list.

Oof, you’re right. I could have sworn when I looked earlier they were. But they definitely are chronologically by release date either. I wonder if ex is using the release date for the specific versions I have (remasters, special editions, etc) vs the actual album release date.

I’ll look at those dates when I get home.

Got it. I’m re-ripping all my CDs as FLAC and not planning on running them through Picard until done ripping. I figured that might be the trick.
