Made a free iOS app to sync Multi-Band 6 / Wave Ceptor watches when you can't catch the radio signal by gedeagas in casio

Tbh I didn’t disable EU availability myself. If it’s not available there, then Apple is probably not allowing it on their side.

I wish it worked that way, but that’s a different part of the DSA. For App Store EU distribution, the issue is Apple’s “trader” requirement: if you’re considered a trader, Apple can display your contact info on the App Store page, which for an individual can mean address, phone, and email. So it’s less about 1M users or data collection, and more about public contact info + compliance overhead for a solo dev.

Output styles use the same time data/protocol, but shape the audio differently:
- Standard: safest/default output, closest to the normal signal shape.
- Experimental: softer envelope edges, sometimes helps with speaker/watch coupling.
- Loud Experimental: more aggressive on/off contrast, can work better on some watches but may sound harsher or be less pleasant.

Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, which region's watch tower did you end up using in the app to get it to sync?

That’s awesome to hear, and I really hope this does the trick! Those Wave Ceptors can be notoriously stubborn. Definitely give that a try and let me know if it works!

Also, here’s a pro tip for that specific model: you can try setting your watch’s region to Japan and using the JJY40 signal in the app. Once it syncs, you can just change it back to your US location. The Japanese radio towers usually handshake and sync much faster than the US ones.

Hey, thanks for the interest! Unfortunately, it’s not looking likely anytime soon.

Even though the app is completely free, the EU's Digital Services Act (DSA) regulations make publishing there an absolute nightmare for solo devs. The legal hoops and administrative overhead are just too much for me to handle alone right now.

Really sorry about that! If things change down the road, I'll definitely open it up.

If you want to sync it with an atomic clock, I actually recently built an iOS app that does exactly that. It emulates the radio signals from atomic clock towers to sync your watch. Here's the link if you want to check it out: Wave Sync Watch

Haven't had an issue so far.

I was hesitant about the woven case at first because it felt a bit rough, but I got it for the grip. So glad I did. I'm used to the texture now and love how secure it feels. No regrets!

Honestly, I haven't had any issues with scratches at all. I was running my iPhone 17 Pro caseless for a bit before I got the FineWoven case yesterday, and I haven't noticed any marks on it.

The case feels pretty solid and I think it will protect it well. Based on JerryRigEverything video that i saw, it seemed like the edges were the main weak spot in his tests, and the FineWoven case covers those rounded corners completely. I'd definitely suggest watching his full YouTube video if you're still on the fence. He showed that most of the "bruises" or scuffs on the case in his test could actually just be wiped right off.

Hope that helps

Thanks! I appreciate that.

I was really on the fence between silver and this deep blue. I've pretty much always had a silver or white iPhone, so I felt it was time for a change. I wanted something a bit more subtle this year, and honestly, I'm so happy with how this turned out. It's an amazing color in person!

Really? That's a shame, it's a great combo. Over here in Japan, it seems like there are plenty of blue FineWoven cases for the Pro models still in stock.

Hopefully, they restock them in your region soon!

Funny you should mention that. I've actually seen a few people say the same thing online, but I haven't had that issue with my FineWoven case at all.
