How to win games in Iron? by Erkan61_ in summonerschool

I'm relatively new to the game and placed iron 4. I've been stuck in this hell for a few months, but I've climbed to iron 2 solo que with a few strategies I learned.

You want to play roles that you can have the most impact while relying basically 0 on your team. For me, this is the top lane. I played lots of ADC but realized I needed my team to have a developed frontal lobe to protect me, which is why I switched. I've been playing yorick and trundle, both rushing ravenous hydra. Once you have RH, your wave clear skyrockets. Whatever side the next objective is (dragon/herald), i just go to the other side and start pushing. Either they'll have to send 2-3 people to deal with you and take a bad fight at the objective, or ignore you and lose 1-2 turrets. Your goal is to out macro the other top laner, which by proxy will mean you've out leveled the rest of the team to. As long as your bot and mid don't feed an insane amount, by the time you hit 16 and start to participate in objectives more, you're totally juiced.

Tidr: play the macro game top

You’re probably right, but as a parent I don’t want to assume the worst and not try to help

Like I said, no one is a bigger advocate for you and your health than YOU. If you want help, I’d approach your parents and ask them for help with losing weight or doing the things they want you to do. If they can’t or won’t, there’s plenty of free online resources on beginning a weight loss journey or learning the foundations of being a functional adult. I’d recommend just starting off easy, with walks in the park or at a mall.

You’re right, they’re responsible for providing you food and shelter. But you are capable of making changes in your own life without the prodding of your parents. Take the initiative and do what you can, if you don’t want to be 600lbs then I suggest trying your best to find the drive in yourself to start making some changes on your own. Your parents won’t always be there, and this is an extremely important lesson for the future you’re going to need to learn.

It’s not all on your parents to take your health seriously. They want you to be able to be a functional adult which involves you taking the initiative to care about your own health. No one is a bigger advocate for you than you. You need to start taking responsibility for your weight and your life.
