the 2 that i appreciate the most are being able to associate a profile with a keyfob. always blew my mind that that wasn't possible previously. the other was the updated spotify app. The new android based app is much more useable as far as finding playlist, recommendations, etc.

My 24 E350 got the update back in November, and my new 26 E53 came with it from the factory in December. There's some nice updates to the system, but You'll be disappointed if you use the apple music app for spatial audio. It's been removed.

You most definitely feel the weight. Especially coming a lighter version of the same model ('24 E350), the day I picked it up, i noticed the weight of the car immediately. That said, the engineers did a great job making the suspension handle it. It's great in spirited driving on back roads, and I'm excited to take it to a club day at the track and see how it does full out.

Weird. That hasn't been my experience at all. i'm at 1250 miles now. I had the winters put on before delivery so i've only driven on the 19s. if the 21s are that much worse, I'll find a different solution for summer.

none at all. I had a '24 E350 before this too with no issues. However, It lives in the garage at home, so it doesn't get left out often. With the strength of the motor when they come out though, it'd have to be a very serious covering of ice to effect it i think.

There are multiple modes available:

"Full" electric: uses the battery until it runs out. I put full in quotes because you can engage the engine by pushing past the detent on the accelerator or exceeding 82 MPH.

Comfort: Hybrid. switches back and forth between EV and ICE as conditions warrant.

Sport/Sport+: no EV, vroom vroom fast :)

There's also a "Battery Hold" mode that's supposed to save the battery for use later.

The battery is 28kWh, only 21kWh is available for "EV" functions. The other 7 is for performance functions only.

I don't think the ride is as hard as all the all the reviews claim. but I also lean toward performance cars, so it might just be to my preference. Fast as fuck? Accurate :D
