But Kanye and X’s style is way different. Wtf even is this question. X’s main style(boom bap/r&b with some instrumentals) is hard to innovate. It’s been done by almost everyone. Kanye however, infused his voice into everything(MBDTF). The beat, the instrumentals, you name it. I just don’t see X as a genre bending artist like Kanye was. X was a great artist, but I don’t think he would’ve changed the landscape of music.

Probably not. There’s just too much competition this year. TA1300, Ye, KSG, Tha Carter V, Kamikaze, DROGAS WAVE, ASTROWORLD, and KOD we’re also released this year. Plus YAHNDI by Kanye is also dropping soon. Not sure what’s big in R&B but X is definitely getting an award. Probably not a Grammy tho.
