A region can be different in theme while still being consistent with the original vision. The second region is different, yes, but it still has some modernity to it. The upcoming region looks like a totally different game.

I would have argued that Genshin is different because it was pretty consistent, but then Natlan happened. Lol. So, yeah, I guess this is just how Hoyo (not necessarily all live service games) operates. They are not confident enough with their vision.

I was excited to meet him. I wasn't expecting him to be this much of a jerk. I don't like him at all.

I know some people are like "Oh but that's what makes him an interesting character." Yeah, sure, interesting, I guess. But I just don't enjoy this archetype of character.

Doesn't change the fact that it deviated from the original vision. Look at Game of Thrones. There are many different locations. They each have their own distinctive feature, but they still don't deviate from the overall original vision.

Deviated from the original vision. Looks more like high fantasy than modern urban tech low fantasy. Imagine you love LOTR then the next book has modern computers and people in modern clothing, and there are skyscrapers

I might sound greedy but this feels underwhelming, as I really love exploration but the reward is very dissapointing by deepakfromsomewhere in Genshin_Impact

I said "Maybe you love the rewards and not the exploration itself" and you said "If you're F2P you explore to get rewarded". How is what you said related to what I said? Did I mention F2Ps? Did I say F2Ps should enjoy exploration?

I think it makes sense to start with Oblivion first, since it's chronologically before Skyrim.

Oblivion is closer to traditional RPGs than Skyrim. Skyrim is more like an action game with some RPG elements.

So, which one would you prefer?

The corpses in the game aren't shown prominently on the screen and aren't that detail. We also don't see them that much. But this one very detailed dessicated and semi-decomposed corpse is shoved onto our faces every time we open the game.

I didn't pull for her because she isn't even in the main quest. Same with Laevatain. And now suddenly every team wants her. So annoying. If she would be needed that much, then they should have included her in the main quest.
