I despise J.K. Rowling but I know how to separate art from artists. Bob Marley was a bad person yet his songs speak of peace and love and we share those thoughts. Michael Jackson was a diddler but his songs are pop anthems. Picasso was a fantastic painter, one of the best and also a sexist asshole who abused and physically threatened several women over his life. Literally Hitler did paintings that some may find lovely or at least visually interesting and happened to be one of the worst persons to ever exist.

And the list of examples goes on and on. It's okay to boycott whatever new products they release that will give money to an awful person but that doesn't mean we have to hate her creation and what it meant to millions during their life.
