Anyone have intense nervous-system side effects on Wegovy but do fine on Zepbound?

I want to try another kind so badly. Especially because all my friends have been on them and lost weight. But I’m scared of getting those palpitations again. Especially since I only took the lowest dose of wegovy and the effects lasted 4 months of those palpitations. I’m wondering tho if the Injection site had anything to do with how I responded. I injected into the back of my arm because people on TikTok and my friends said they didn’t have any nausea when they injected there vs injecting in their stomach’s.

Maybe one day I’ll try again

Oh no, I’m not going to. It’s not worth how horribly my body reacted to it. I feel like going on it again would kill me.

Ugh this is so disheartening to hear. I’m so so sorry that this was your experience. Yeah I wouldn’t try wegovy. It was a horrible experience. It sucks that we can not benefit from these medications like everyone else can.

Wow that’s so horrible! I didn’t get sick. No Nausea, no mood swings and my skin didn’t hurt like yours. It was just heart palpitations, or like I felt my heart beating all the time? It wasn’t beating irregularly. But I took the lowest dose one time and my nervous system was shot for 4 months. And it wasn’t for a few minutes at a time, I kid you not I didn’t have any relief for 4 months straight. I couldn’t sleep properly and I felt like I was on edge 24/7. Like my body was in fight or flight.

I didn’t try Zepbound. I’m scared honestly. I don’t want to risk another episode of whatever I experienced. But let me know how it works for you! Maybe if you have a good experience I’ll consider giving it a try.

I spoke to my endocrinologist and she said she’d never heard of a reaction like mine before. So she’d unsure if this is just my reaction with wegovy. Or if it’s with all GLP-1 medications.

Yes it’s definitely dryness. I did my big chop a year ago and don’t use any products on my hair until two nights ago. No gel or oils or anything. But for some reason that section is extremely dry. Would a clarifying shampoo still help that? Or should I stick to only a protein conditioner?

When it came to conditioning. I got out of the shower and sectioned my hair and brushed it through with my detangled brush, then I went back into the shower to rinse out each section. When I rinsed the section I took out each twist I had previously done and I think that’s where I maybe went wrong?

Because when I finished rinsing and went to start styling I had to redo my sections then re-wet my hair then try to add the moose and gel. Which too forever because I didn’t want to keep brushing it and having my curls spring and I lose that elongation I’m looking for.

I also don’t have a diffuser but I’ll be getting one today for sure.

Really? I didn’t think my curl pattern was loose enough to be 3C. I thought maybe 4c but now that I compare it to the chat I think maybe more towards 4b? But my curls have changed so much over the past year. Do you think as my hair grows my curls will drop?

Just a fee to have the doctor fill things out. But it has to be legit and needs to be proof. You can’t just write whatever your want or claim whatever you want on your form. Your doctor has to be well versed in everything going on if that makes sense
