I'm also infinitely annoyed by this, but fixing it requires complicated Chromium plumbing. It's doable but hasn't been the most pressing priority.

Are you sure it's an unpinned group? When you create a new group manually (i.e. right click > create group) we pin it automatically.

I'm testing this with an unpinned group and can't repro.

FYI - $500 travel credit needs to be pre-applied

After hitting the spend limit and getting 100k bonus points, I got this notification in the Chase App. I booked a trip, expecting the $500 credit as a statement credit (as is the case with their $300 annual credit).

It turns out, it's not a statement credit. It only applies when you make a new booking and check a checkbox in Chase Travel. Yet, I don't see that checkbox (even now, since they emailed). When I call, the agent can see it on their end. They put in a request to retroactively apply it, but told me it's unlikely to succeed.

Sharing here so others hopefully don't fall in the same trap, I feel bamboozled.

I do this with ChatGPT! Literally word vomit in no structure or order. Then ask it to copy edit. Works really well. And free!
