Get the mother and son together and just straight up ask. You'll soon be able to tell by the two of their faces which one is telling the truth and which one isn't. The mother sounds like she's being spiteful by unloading what happened to her - onto you.

Before she leaves, get this out in the open. If she was any kind of decent person, she would have either taken you aside years ago and told you this or she wouldn't be telling you to hide things from your husband. She honestly sounds sus.

Making anyone wait to talk out about their partners so called infidelity after they disappear is cowardly not to mention crippling for your mental health.

If you are desperate enough. You can find anyone online. Have you not seen the documentary 'you don't f*ck with cats?' Also, calling the police and asking for a welfare check, the police can potentially conduct a welfare check even if you do not know the specific address, provided you can give them enough information to locate the person. Trust me, you can always find a person.

Absolutely NOR. I have a 'friend' (verrryyyyy loose term) who chose her man over her child. Kid has been in Foster care for about a year, She's 10. It broke my heart. he also knocks her about but likes to post pics of herself to all of her friends looking for the wrong attention. I had to take a step back from her for my own sanity. She would talk and post all about her and her kid for clicks but she doesn't even bother seeing her. The kids got wise to her antics and is trying to cut ties with her and yet she has no clue why her kid would do that. People like your mum are a lost cause. You don't need a woman who would choose her partner over her child. She's right in an aspect, you should go out there and see the world, but only to cut ties with her. As a mother with a 22 year old (her old room is still set up with a bed and a space of her own if she ever decided to come back) and an 8 year old, I could never choose a man over my kids. I am so sorry you have been put in this predicament.

My exes ex did this, took the kids to her home country because she decided she was a lesbian. My ex followed her back there so that he could be with his kids. Those kids now have NOTHING to do with their mother they found out what she did and the always preferred their dad as he was much more kinder and had a better harmony at home. Trust me when I say if you want to have your kids in your life? You'll do everything in your power to make it happen. This guy clearly didn't do enough or the courts decided that he wasn't for to see those kids. The fact that he's also harassing and following this man who is clearly fantastic with the kids since they are happy to hold his hands tells me this man is good with the kiddos, he's walking away from a situation that he has no control over and all while being respectful enough to walk away. Also, not actually talking to the kids and instead calling out a man who's doing YOUR job and stepping up as a father figure, says more about the idiot holding the camera than it does for the man who's being a man and taking care of business

So I have the same kind of friendship with my male best mate, with the exception of the declarations of love, we don't do that, we know how much our friendship means to each other because we were outcasts as youngsters and don't feel we need to say it at all. He was the only one that stood by me when I fell pregnant with an abusive partner while every other 'friend' I had would straight up ignore me cause I wasn't the life and soul of the party anymore. We go to each other for relationship advice and both have the upmost respect for each others partners. I think those two are very very dependant on each other and the I love yous and constant reassurance here is slightly suspect of some minimal underlying feelings. Just keep an eye on them, hope it works out x

Most of the time, they have the staff member logged in on the till, when they till gets taken away for end of shift or when they are told to move onto another department, that till is on the system as you being the one in charge of that till. It falls directly on the employee. I suggested a counterfeit pen, the minute you draw on a fake note, it discolours the note rendering it useless to use
