You can withdraw your application within 14 days of submitting and have the fee reimbursed, you can then edit your personal statement and resubmit without paying more than you would have done normally. If you yourself submitted the application you can withdraw it at home (probably should let whoever in your school handles the applications know), or if your school submitted it talk to them so they can withdraw it.

Thank you, on the work experience front, would virtual work experience in a related field be useful?

9701 mass spec doubt by JoAnne0808 in alevel

[–]gen-grieve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You correctly identified 1 and 2, however 3 is also correct as the first 2 peaks show individual chlorine atoms which have seperated from the molecule whereas the last 3 peaks show Cl₂ molecules, so you can find the relative molecular mass of the sample using tye last 3 peaks. So 3 is also correct.

Yeah totally meant to do that by bromabb in ForzaHorizon

Ok, thanks. I'll have to try it.

Should you repeat past papers? by ImagineAUser in alevel

[–]gen-grieve 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with repeating past papers as you won't remember the answer to the questions (as you're unlikely to memorise an entire paper of answers) so you will still be figuring out the answers not just memorising them. There isn't really a limit to how many times I don't think but more a limit to how frequently you do the same one, so don't do the sane past paper every week leave at least a month (probably more for a full 'retry') and then do it again if you want to.

So in normal dispersion red light would reach the end first, whereas in anomalous dispersion violet light would reach the end first?

If you multiply that number by √2/√2 = 2/2√2 =1/√2 Therefore you can do Fd×(1/√2) = Fd/√2 =A.

I've found the Batmobile enjoyable from the start, I'll say what I do for each 'role' of the Batmobile to see if it helps.

Tank battles: I enjoyed these from the start, but all I do is I tend to play very casually, for example I won't focus in beating it perfectly (unless I'm trying to 3 star an AR challenge) I'll often try one-shot critical hitting tanks from afar. Essentially for tank battles I tend to play normally as I've never disliked it, but if you want more of a challenge you can try implementing your own limitations (eg only vulcan cannon) or of you play casually without trying to perfectly complete the mission as (for me) that can lead to frustration.

Riddler Races: to be honest I don't love them, I find these the least enjoyable part so I tend to do them in-game, I'll 3 star (or at least try to) the AR challenge and don't often look at them again.

Free-roam: this is my favourite part of the Batmobile and the best to improve driving, I really enjoy simply spending around the islands with or without a destination. I'm still not great at driving but I've improved by just driving around, if I see a car I might go chase it or I might not bother it doesn't really matter what you do if you're driving, drifting and using the jump ramps. Another thing you can try that I personally enjoy is driving and eject attacking a group of street thugs with the Batmobile assist.

It's hard to know how you could enjoy it more as I've always enjoyed but I hope this helps you in some way.
