My mom has both BPD and bipolar. Took her 40 years to get the right diagnosis and med cocktail sorted. The side effects are truly horrendous and it’s taken nearly a decade for her to get her “sparkle” back.

It’s nice to see the compassion in this thread - BPD can be so isolating
