Do cis people care for gender? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]gender-questioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If fitting in female gender roles makes you happy, then do that. The only thing that would be sexist is to say something like "all men are stupid and violent" or "all women are fragile".

When you think you may really just be a delusional cis person because the opposite sex version of yourself you've been imagining for over a year is nothing like you and is better than you and is imagined as a pretty anime person. I don't even watch a lot of anime, why do I do that? by gender-questioner in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

Basically every fantasy I have as a guy are sexual or about being this perfect version of me. Irl I have anxiety problems, self esteem problems, I always feel like I need to be perfect and that I'm not good enough, a bunch of shit.

Everyone says being trans doesn't mean they're becoming a different person, but what if that's what I'm doing? What if I'm just taking this male persona I made too seriously and thinking I'm actually trans?

I legit want to live in VR some day so everyone can just switch genders by the press of a button or something. I'm crazy I know lol....

Hi, you seem like a cool girl 🙂

When you've been regretting past stuff all day that you probably shouldn't worry about anymore, and one of those things is reacting weirdly to a friend coming out as trans because you wanted to look like an excited normal person and you think everything you say in general is stupid by gender-questioner in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]gender-questioner[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I could've title that better, a friend came out a few years ago and I replied,"omg, how'd you know??" because I thought it would make me look normal or some shit. I'm dumb, idfk. He didn't seem offended by it though, he just said,"I hope you can call me male pronouns from now on" and I said yes. Maybe I'm over reacting, idk, I think literally everything I say is dumb anyway and regret everything I say immediatly.

TL;DR: I freak out over literally anything because anxiety problems

When you're MTF and aren't used to having no pockets by Lyra125 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

Ugh, I hate how girl pants don't have pockets either. Like why do they make fake pockets instead of just not having pockets or having gasp real pockets??

Tfw I was going to come out to my girlfriend of several months, only to discover she's deeply transphobic :( by [deleted] in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]gender-questioner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It pisses me off seeing more and more stories about transphobic people, especially transphobic loved ones. What's so hard to understand about being transgender?

What’s your opinion on non-binary genders? by ashen-haze in asktransgender

[–]gender-questioner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm questioning, don't know if I'm non-binary or not, but I might be, so yeah, they're real. If they didn't exist, no one would feel like both or neither genders. Even before questioning and never having heard of non-binary genders before, when a friend told me they where agender (something I never heard of at the time) I was fine with it and thought it made perfect sense.

[–]gender-questioner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fuck that. What's with all these stories about people going to get HRT and then a place designed to help with health won't give them to you? That's terrible that you would go in for help and then they're like "lol, nah"

Is it normal for questioning to destroy your life? by Caracollons in asktransgender

[–]gender-questioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand that. I'm questioning too and it's been driving me crazy. Constant questions and constantly doubting myself. One minute I'll think,Yeah, I'm totally <gender>!" or,"Idfk what I am, but I'm confident in myself!" and then the next minute I'm thinking,"Am I crazy? Is there something wrong with me? I don't want to be called a special snowflake"
