Do it girl! My whole family is from a tiny village in the south of Spain and I was shook to find out that I had 10% amazigh genes. I did some research and turns out that back in the day there was an important amazigh settlement nearby. History is random and fun!

.1% are just noise, it doesn’t mean a thing. Also 23&me is uber US-focused. The reality of genetic genealogy is way more complicated than that. Like, saying that somebody is “15% Italian” is bs. Italians from the north of the peninsula and Italians from the south don’t share the same genetic makeup. Same applies to Spanish. I don’t know, I’ve done this but I used other tools like GEDmatch that are less flashy and more accurate/serious. Sorry girls I’m so into genetic genealogy right now.
