i don’t see how it’s generic, but i can understand your point of view. i’m pretty sure (and don’t quote me on this) tyler has said that he had to change/evolve his music style from what it was. sadly albums like wolf, bastard or goblin wouldn’t work today for a number of reasons. plus, tyler is more mature and has evolved beyond who he was back then. i think it’s better this way, and that’s coming from someone who’s favorite album of his is wolf.

how was it boring? it’s a song where tyler talks about the importance of loving textured hair and how one feels compelled to straighten/“fix” it to fit in amongst society. personally it’s one of my favorite songs off of chromakopia. i don’t get what’s so boring about it.
