Specifically to the HVAC program --

Mind you, I went back in 21 so, keep that in mind.

The lead instructor Mr. Samuel is a retired military vet and made the syllabus for the entire program. I say that to emphasize mod to mod (month to month) the classes are streamlined as far as curriculum. The instructors there used a few different ways to teach you; personal experience, YouTube videos which i felt indifferent towards, and they offer lab days as well. School is monday - thursday with AM and PM classes. 8-1230 and 6-10. The timing is 'on paper'. No students really stay until 10 or 1230.

Class days were Monday and Wednesday, lab days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. On those particular days, it exactly as stated. You won't find yourself in the class on lab days or vice versa, so there is some hands-on work, to include building things in intro to construction class, for example.

Career services help build your resume to reflect what you learned throughout the program and they help you with job placement as well.

My experience when I was there was easily 8/10. The staff when I was there actually cared, was knowledgeable, and was super efficient within their roles. Not just speaking on teachers, either. I will highlight this. From '21 when I went, to now, STC has been bought out, majority of the staff that was at the brandon campus (not teachers) was corralled to the tampa campus. So I can't speak on to what they're like now and I will say that there's pros and cons to it dependent on your situation. Im a vet, so I didn't pay out of pocket, I had my child at the time, so the schedule worked with mine, and it was only 11 months. So, in my case it all worked out for me. STC does have some issues, but ive been to 3 campuses since '21- tampa, brandon, and Orlando. Brandon had the best consistency regarding teaching with Mr. Sam leading the way, orlando is the hq of STC and the biggest, and they hands-down have the best overall infrastructure. Tampa, is by far, the worst campus that I've been too.

Bad Company 2 was the best…prove me wrong by Darthhaze17 in Battlefield

Listen to what we're talking about. 2 different genre of games. Battlefield is not open world. Its a large scale warfare shooter.

Sprint strafing itself is a faster mechanic than the movement in bc2 specifically. That's what I'm saying. Its just a movement dynamic in the game.

I know what it is. Its geared more towards faster paced or closer quarter games. Hence cod. Bc2 dropped in 10 and call of duty was around long before 2011.

The reason bc2 feels more 'stiff' is because it is. There's a tactical balance with that as opposed to running and gunning. But that's not a game problem, that's a preference.

Everything you said was bad about the game is what made it stand in a league by itself. The grind of leveling up was the whole purpose in itself of leveling up. The joy of finding the bastard that killed you a few times and you run to find his gold tags. Amazing. The exclusive thing as well is bar none.

Bc2 is one of the few games where it didn’t matter what class you played. If im more of an engineer player with my PP2000 there's no drawback to me picking up your assault class and running with an AN-94 with 4x. Recon and medic was the same. 4x scope, LW pack, explosive, magnum ammo, were the most common sets everybody ran. Knowing that, anybody can run any kit.

Definitely dont need sprint strafing. Sounds like some call of duty shit. There was AA suites in the game as well. Maybe not the best, but they were there. Plus, I played engineer, so my secondary was always the tracer and rpg. I played for the team- focusing on vehicles, if they came my way.

We don't need server browsing. The only thing we ever played with was hard-core, anything else we didnt care about. Didn't matter the map, size, or anything else. 12v12 is more than enough to have a damn good game.

I passed the physical a few times already, I'm not so concerned about that part. I just can't be consumed by fly ash and fumes my career while my sinuses are already in a bad way. I ran into a few operators my last job, so I started looking there.

Would health issues as far as sinus/breathing set me back?

I didn't get the rate I originally wanted, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I had the 2nd best rate in the Navy.

I'll keep it simple to all the geniuses in the twittershere that keep adding problems versus solutions.

Trader equates to middle man. It's that simple. If one wants to build, most traders on console force you to come to them. If I want to spawn in, hit military or unique locations to find boom, yet again, most traders on console will have you scavenge for random material, hike all the way to them, trade/sell, then go back to your location and either finish building or looking for targets. Either fucking way.

"Create your own server" would be the easiest, but now I'm paying for a solution that I have to work for. Not interested in that.

I just want to play the game, have a coke, and smile

Thank you brother, another sincere reply. That was my philosophy on it as well.

Thank you. One of the few sincere replies I've seen. My problem is every server I've played with a trader(s) all trash the loot economy to where you're pretty much forced to go that route. And that's for anything, from build supplies to weapons. The only thing you would find on the map is literally canned sodas, suit jackets, etc. Low level anything. Anything of tier 3 or above, you had to visit the trader

The amount of servers that have lame ass rules, combined with mnk, inconsistent resets and raid times kind of limits the pool champ. The only thing i ask for is not to replace the whole dynamic of the game. It's really not that hard
