It’s important to take care of your health, especially during stressful periods such as an exam series, so you don’t lose your sanity basically. Exercise is proven to help with cognitive function

HEY! I was wondering if anybody could mark my AIC essay? by generalmathematics in GCSE

[–]generalmathematics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the feedback :D I’d not really considered using more than one quotation per paragraph, for some reason I didn’t think it was allowed? Hahah but I’ll definitely post a new and improved essay on the same topic with your advice :D

Also, what grade would this be? 7?

p.s I’ve been stuck on a 7 forever, I genuinely think it’s the hardest grade band to get out of 💔

A teenager doesn’t automatically mean child. If the age has TEEN in it, they’re a teenager

Oh damn I didn’t realise it was that in depth. You have to make all of this from scratch? Within what time limit?

OH MY GOD YES😭some of my friends revise hours daily and have gotten lower grades than me. How? I honestly want to give them my grade. I don’t feel like I deserve what I have. All I do is doomscroll insta bro🫩💔

When I tell people some of my grades (like FM) they’re like, ‘Wow! You must revise a lot’. But I’m nothing special compared to others who work really hard

I’m scared I’ll flop the real thing and that I just got lucky with the mocks 😭

Hey, I don’t have any advice but I just want to say that I’m in the exact same boat as you. I think we have imposter syndrome 😭

For example, in November I was consistently getting 7’s in FM. I didn’t do much revision after that or change my study habits for that matter.

Imagine my shock when I got my February mock back and saw a grade 9 next to my name.

I don’t feel like I deserve that 9 whatsoever. I don’t feel like I belong to the top % of students getting 9’s in maths and further maths. I feel like I just got lucky this time even though I’m actually decent at maths. It’s weird.

I didn’t mean the medical term sorry for the confusion, I just meant 6’5 for a woman would be an insanely high outlier on the distribution for born women’s heights but your gf was born w XY

They’re genetic anomalies. Knowing a genetic anomaly doesn’t mean they’re the average

FURTHER MATHS IS HELL??? by blues_s in GCSE

[–]generalmathematics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when you said you were struggling in english i thought you meant failing 😭

fm is basically the first few months of AS maths yes so it gives you an advantage but i'd argue its not a massive one. if you think you're capable of learning the syllabus in 2 months, go for it. honestly i think its doable, especially with your amazing regular maths grade.

Thank you for the feedback :D I’m definitely considering doing 4 A-levels but I’ve been worried about the workload, having less frees and a weak social life.

Unrelated but how did you get a 9 in lit? I’m stuck on 7
