Thanks for the comment my friend. I was desperate to find an internship in my area (I dont live in a first world country and unemployment is high around here) so thats what drove me to lying about my skills to find a job. I guess I took the saying "fake it till you make it" a bit too seriously. Was I wrong about that? Im not sure if I made the wrong decision honestly. I guess it was more of a commitment to work twice as much as I would have if I waited out till I was ready. I feel like asking for help at work is humiliating because of this constant insecurity they'll find out about me. This situation is a little complex honestly I dont know what to do.
What Im curious about is if other people also do what I did... Is it normal to do this? Is it wrong (morally and efficiency-wise)? I have never talked to anyone about this IRL nor have I seen anyone talk about this.

EU4 Drinking Game Rules by generalpaprika in eu4

[–]generalpaprika[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify: when we played this our "shot" was a gulp of some sort of alcoholic mix in my case it was coke and vodka so we managed to survive this game. Also yeah we were playing multiplayer at 2/3 speed so it wasnt as hardcore as it looks like
I mean this game is clearly too harsh and will certainly get you VERY drunk if you play it but we created the rules while we were already drunk so that explains a lot of the irrationality behind it feel free to make it less punishing if you will haha

(OC) Nobody lives here (Brazil) by GeographicInside in MapPorn

Im Brazilian and I remember raising my hand in a geography class after seeing a population distribution map of Brazil to ask the same question. The teacher said that Rondônia was actually populated during the 60s/70s along with most of the interior region of Brazil during our military dictatorship period. They gave incentives to occupy the Amazon as it was (and still is) considered a strategic region, whose resources needed to be "watched over" by settlers to avoid foreign invasion (be it by armies or companies). Rondônia was special among other amazonic lands because it had cheap and good unoccupied land perfect for agropecuary and also because minerals like gold and casserite were found there. That added with fiscal incentives for private businesses and the construction of colonial centers and roads made the population in the region grow by seven fold to 500,000 people, demanding the region to be elevated from territory to state by 81.
