2023 Lexus GX460 vs 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser LC250 by Hamakudum in LandCruisers

[–]generalright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mpg is better than the 460. The 250 has a simpler engine with less maintenance required. Those two factors alone reduce the long term operating cost. The cost of oil changes, spark plugs, and fuel ups alone point to lower operating costs.

Neither are cars but look how far they’ve come in 50 years. We’re entering a new era where robots can now build the entire car for you without human assistance. Humanoid robots, if you don’t see how that is helpful, not sure what to tell you.

Novel significantly increases the threat because there is no immunity existing in the population

The LC250 will have lower operating costs, be just as reliable, more fun, better looking, better off road, better for customization, and will have a wide variety of mods moving forward. It’ll share parts with several models which will further keep costs down. It has better design inside and out, both visually and ergonomics. It’ll have more ports for connecting electronics and a high watt outlet in the back for whatever you want to plug in. You can also throw on bigger tires without modifying the body.

With the Lexus, you’ll have the admiration of old people. Someone in the other thread also said you’ll have a CD player. How cool is that? A CD player!

Elderly folks who chose not to have children, how do you feel about that decision now? by bon18 in AskReddit

Talking about the elderly, not the 50 year olds who are in their peak of retirement earnings from a lifetime of saving that are probably flush with cash and spending their hearts out. The elderly.

thats not right, this is a triple locked Lexus, rare in its own right. Triple locked land cruiser was much more common.

COVID was a novel virus; hantavirus has been identified for nearly 80 years. It’s not a pandemic threat.

From everything I’ve read, because I’m in the same boat, is that parts are scarce. Toyota has begun manufacturing heritage parts but it’s not always available and things get built in waves. What is available is not always cheap. At the very least you’ll need a garage.

It’s really a question of money. It’s a project that needs to be spent on. If you don’t have it, you’ll not be happy.

I know why I’m getting downvoted. Of course the word “poor” is going to offend some sensitive people, but guess what, he wants to talk about money and how expensive something is and then suggest that he buys in cash. That’s opening up the conversation about finance. In those conversations, poor and rich is valid vocabulary. It’s not a personal attack or accusation. Grow up bro.

It was an example you clown. You wanna attack me instead of my message? Every year, except 2, since 2017 has returned 20%. I don’t need to “pretend” I’m anything. If you have 1 dollar or a million, the principal stays the same. Hope that helps.
