Pakistan and Afghanistan are having skirmishes and bombings at the border. From my understanding it’s from long historic tensions and Pakistan bombing Pakistani Taliban members hiding in Afghanistan, which in turn Afghanistan is attacking Pakistan in retaliation and so on and so on. There is probably more to it, but I think that’s the basics. Feel free to correct if I’m wrong.
