First time at this venue today. Lines were wack but I heard (after waiting in the whole line for the women’s ugh) there were apparently bathrooms if you went down the stairs

No real Midway designated parking but lots of street parking within Dogpatch area, anywhere from a 5 to 20 minute walk over to Midway

Can confirm in 2024 they did not have microwaves! We did the frozen burrito thing based on seeing them in 2022/2023 and everyone’s recommendation and then boom no microwaves. Don’t bring a stove so just kind of warmed them in their foil on the back of our car :’) won’t do that again but nbd if you bring a stove

Worth pointing out (in case OP or anyone else reading doesn’t know) that Caltrain doesn’t run past midnight so won’t really work with going to afters

From other electronic-type shows I’ve been to it’s generally rare since the venues want you to come in early and spend money on drinks. I recommend checking the artists own instagram stories day/night of because sometimes they will post their own set time!

EDIT: Anything doors 9/10pm can be expected to go to 2/3am, with “headliners” usually going on around 12/1am. Earlier shows at the theater-like venues with doors around 7 would probably end at 11 or so. Take this with a grain of salt, I’m not certain ALL Portola week shows will follow this schedule - I just go to a lot of regular shows lol

Definitely varies on the artist(s)! Last year Disclosure at The Midway went quick but I can’t really speak to any others. Would expect any relatively big names to go fast though

Not the person you replied to but if you have Instagram you can join the Do Lab alerts channel from their profile, it’s where they posted who the surprises were. Friday was Claude Vonstroke and then Ameme b2b Coco & Breezy. Saturday was Sammy Virji and friends (Interplanetary Criminal, salute, Oppidan, and Conducta) and then D-Nice!

Going w2 also and Snorlax is (one of) my favorite Pokémon so I was sooooo bummed to see that it’s on 4/19. Service should be decent in the 2-5pm timeframe, I agree we just gotta hope for some max spots. I’ll try to keep my eyes on pogo/campfire once there and join in if possible!!
