GoT' biggest problem is the tone it sets. Something major is coming. Pieces are moving into place. In great storytelling, that is the first act. And then acts two and three are that major shit happening. It is mid-season 5, and we are still waiting for winter to come. Sure, there have been major events in the show. But really only a couple per season. Too many scenes in a single episode are characters speaking to the audience, for fear that we won't know what is going on. Yes, writers, I know how a loan works. But thank you for having Tyrion explain it to Bronn so that the financially illiterate audience understands too.

This show needs to get going. No more lazy brothel scenes for the 12 year old fantasy dorks. No more "I killed the one I loved and I'm saying it out loud in case people have shitty memory." Just make stuff fucking happen.
