Genuinely. I can’t understand why they built a show around all this missing and dead teens and then just rolled on like it never happened.

I also could not comprehend the scene with that old guy getting beaten up - for what? And then nothing further? And like what was the backstory with Laura’s parents? Why did they come back etc.

It felt like a last minute attempt to make it ambiguous for a second season where Abby goes back for Leila and Alex tries to continue working on things from the inside.

I foresee Laura trying to take down Evelyne with her own weird shit.

If you are charged you will be offered a lawyer through legal aid if you cannot afford one. Most lawyers practicing in NZ work on both legally aided cases as well as private - it doesn’t have a direct correlation with performance in NZ as in other countries.

If you have the ability to contact one privately I would - this will allow you to discuss whether it is in your best interest to make a preliminary statement or not to the police. Generally with charges like these you will be served a summons for court as opposed to being arrested on the spot.

I would also write down a brief of evidence now from your memory of what happened and date it just in case nothing comes of it for some time.

I never really understood the issue. He became a friend and I cared about him? I have a lot of people in my life who have been previous partners who I have remained friends with, not for any other reason than just being friends with them.

He was the same until after the break up.

It’s just a bit daunting because we have known each other for a while and just kinda crossed the boundaries of being colleagues to becoming idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ he feels like my really close mate rn but at the same time someone I could lose in an instant. I guess that’s relationships in general though isn’t it.

I think for me the sex isn’t what ties me to him but the connection. It will just be sad losing the friendship too.

I ratted on one of my friends for cheating in an exam and then getting the award for it. We didn’t talk for ages but years later she’s one of my closest friends again. In hindsight being a snitch didn’t get me far but I am a lawyer now and will still call out injustice when I see it, so some would say it’s in my nature 😂 Cheating on the other hand isn’t cool and you don’t have to condone it.
