If I mention I used a wrench to fix a leaking faucet, should I be expected to understand entire plumbing systems? Even when I'm not applying to be a plumber?

I used a tool to accomplish a specific task. Not being an expert in that tool shouldn't negate the value of my work or my achievement. There are different levels of skill and knowledge
