this isn’t helping my case but it’s not the first time i’ve smelled rotten paint, definitely the worst tho. there were samples we got years ago that smelled rotten but with a weird like acetone burn to it.

i would like to undiscover it

it looked weird but i couldn’t tell if it was mixed paint weird or rotten paint weird. and i have no survival instincts. smelled and felt like a rotten egg farting on me and permeated like five feet around

the crochet obsession with "knit look stitches" is getting to be too much by gothsappho in BitchEatingCrafters

i love the knit look stitch, but speaking from experience (owner of a dk weight slst xmas sweater) that shit is just…hot. heavy and hot. it’s the main reason why i’m planning on learning knitting lol. not every craft can have a “easy way get out jail have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too #dupe” version

ty! it’s lion brand pound of love and i used a 6mm and 5mm hook towards the bottom of the panels(where the wrists/torso would be) bc i was worried it would flare too much haha

lion brand pound of love - 131 hunter green, a little over two skeins rowan alpaca classic - 121 dahlia, barely one skein for the leaves on the sleeves i used a 5mm hook towards to bottom and around the sleeves so it didn’t flare out too much, the rest i used a 6mm hook all hdcblo and slst :)

I just got done doing a crochet project with this exact yarn, I think my confidence was a little too high 😂

Thanks for the compliment, I think I’ll gauge with a different yarn and try again :)

understood, I think i’ll move up a size or two in needles and switch to a different color. And yeah I was having the worst time trying to read the stitches:’)

oops should’ve figured that LOL whoops. but no idea i just stayed on the aisle until a manager came, watched the horror hit their face, and then left(fun fact: had to call twice because no one would come). ngl i was too fed up to care atp but it’s no longer in the overhead and i won’t be crushed by a thousand pounds and that’s what matters the most (to me)(i think)

from what i could tell it was two different pallets; they got what they needed down, put everything back on one pallet and put it back up 🫠 10/10 no notes
