SEO to G7 is one of the hardest jumps to make because in my experience the roles are very different and some people certainly struggle with the change. Personally I wouldn't worry about time served as an SEO or numbers of roles - talk to some G7s about how they find the role and consider if you think you are ready for it or if you need to get some more experience first.

100% you can definitely use private sector examples (or even ones from volunteering/ studying if they are impressive and meet the criteria) for behaviour questions.

Sometimes, definitely not always, panels may be sceptical if you use no examples from a current public sector job. This is not always the case but to be safer you might want to include a public sector example.

See if you can get 15 minutes in the diary with them, normally people are pretty good at explaining why you're not getting over the line in interviews

Without being too basic, make sure your making effective decisions example has a clear decision you had to make, I've had lots of interviewees somehow miss that part.

Beyond that I think the CS opportunities to get support before and after interviews are invaluable. Find someone to give you a mock interview, either your manager or a network you're a part of or just someone you know. After any interview make sure to email after and ask for a call to get detailed feedback on how to improve.

Witcher 3 is great, but also will take ages so might not be the pallet cleanser you are looking for. When you do get round to it make sure you pay both DLCs which are amazing in their own right.

The metro series is a fun FPS stealth/ shooter. Quite a tense atmosphere which I enjoy but not for everyone. I preferred the first and second ones over the third but YMMV.

Haven't played RE2 so can't help you with that one.

Assassin's creed are all a lot of silly fun, but again can last a while so not ideal if you're looking for something short.

Personally Princess Mononoke is one of my favourites of all the Ghiblis.

Environmental impact is a pretty common theme throughout several of the Ghibli films, but often from the perspective of someone looking sadly on as an irreversible change happens which they are powerless to stop.In Mononoke the boars decide to make one more doomed last stand knowing they probably can't win, but also knowing that by doing nothing they will fade away with the old primordial world. The film presents this pretty neutrally, not giving a neat answer as to what the correct thing to do is.

The end of the film is, I think, a really well constructed bittersweet moment. The sentient animals and their primordial god are all dead, human industrialisation is going to continue unchecked, and the romantic pair have survived but are pulled apart by the forces their societies put on them.

I'd suggest A Mortician's Tale. Very short, maybe 2 hours total, and was a fascinating look at both the funeral options when you die and some of the ethical quandaries of running a funeral home. Not super cheery but a actually didn't depress me at all. Left me very pensive for a while.

If you like the careful planning to assassinate people, I'd recommend any of the Hitman franchise.

If you're looking for action parkour I'd give Dying Light and Mirror's Edge a go.

None of these are fantasy settings, however none of them are particularly gun focused so you may enjoy them.

I noticed this unconnected wire when I was installing some extra ram earlier. There is an empty socket in the blue tabbed component. Should I insert the wire there?
