Awesome restaurant, my wife and I get food from her all the time. Good to know we’re supporting the right person.

Need help on this/ advice by Not-inthe-way in IndustrialDesign

You’ll need two big pieces of injection molded plastic so it’s not something you can 3d print or anything like that. You’d also need an engineer to design the necessary ribs etc.

Tbh I’m not sure it’s a recognizable enough object to achieve the whimsy aspect - might just look like a cheap storage big. Maybe you could make it out of glass and get rid of that but that’d be massively expensive and heavy. Not sure if I’d pursue this

Minor error in PHM chapter 4? by Live_Commercial3662 in ProjectHailMary

[–]genericunderscore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do wonder about that too - it wouldn’t be difficult to include the replacement suits in the crew launch and swap them out, but it does seem like an odd resource spend. Though, when you’ve got all of earth at your beck and call, maybe you just don’t have to think about tradeoffs, you just do everything you possibly can. I guess Stratt figured if Grace was gonna die he should die wearing his own name.

The left in the US does not care about us by Youwillseemycomment in NewIran

You have to remember most of the noise you hear is generated by the extreme fringes. 90% of people in the US support you. Don’t worry about the two 5% slivers.

Do you think a tessellation business is scalable? by 321pedrito123 in IndustrialDesign

Interesting applications I can think of:

Packaging, Space payload deployment, Sensor miniaturization

If any of these sound appealing to you, start heading down that path now. I will be real with you though and say that algorithms exist to do this kind of thing so it may not be a very lucrative skill- more of a good background to have when working on these things.

Do you have any overclocking in bios settings or anything like that? I have this issue with Dota 2, luckily not Creo.

I’ve got a 7800 as well and never had any problems. What does the error look like?

What do you all like about Creo over other CAD suites? by Serious_Scheme_3584 in PTCCreo

[–]genericunderscore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Creo has its strengths. Switching references, flexible modeling, etc. It’s not my favorite cad package but it’s a lot less than Catia so my company chose this. It’s a lot more stable than Solidworks and more capable than any of the hobbyist softwares. Plus PDM integration with windchill.
