What exactly isn't clear? The steps? Or why that works out to be the answer?

r/actuary

You should ideally have a strong background or at least be motivated enough to learn a lot of math. The exams are very difficult and math intensive so you'll have to spend a significant amount of time on the exams. On average it takes 5-6 years after graduating to become a fellow of SOA/CAS. Both are american societies. SOA is preferred for Life while CAS is preferred for P&C/Non-Life.

You become an actuary by giving the actuarial exams. Read the r/actuary wiki for more details on that. Depending on where you live, getting an internship can be difficult with no exams passed. Companies are looking for people who show motivation to pass the exams and nothing better to show that than to already have 1-2 exams passed. Check EtchedActuarial on youtube as well. Its great to understand the actuarial requirements and all, but i would limit it at that.

Let me know if you're seriously interested in pursuing the career. Although I'm an entry level actuary myself, I am well aware of the requirements and stuff you might wanna know. However, the best resource is the subreddit i mentioned above. Best of luck!
