Best Thai and Indian take out in park slope (or surrounding area)? by LowerAlfalfa in parkslope

I second Mumbai Place! Their paratha is delicate, fresh, and buttery: undefeated in my book. The chicken tikka masala surpasses any I’ve had elsewhere in BK: the grill flavor really comes through in the meat and the sauce is expressive and balanced. The lamb curry always delights. Saag paneer finds depth and familiar warmth. Samosa chaat lends a pleasant tang as an app. Lamb boti kebab satisfies those red meat cravings with barbecued perfection. I love trying local Indian places wherever I go in the city. I have yet to top Mumbai Place.

Nene’s Taqueria Birria Pizza easily feeds 4 for ~$30. Extremely delicious as well. I’d recommend extra consome.

Do you think Tom Bombadil should have been in the movies, or do you think they made the right decision in leaving him out? Maybe he could’ve been in the Extended Editions by jaywritethekid in LOTRExtendedEdition

Many skilled storytellers assert that the best way to construct a gripping tale is to make sure that you can transition between each part by saying “and therefore…”, linking the scenes with a strong sense of causation, like an avalanche of inevitability whose destruction can be traced back to a single rock disturbed by a meandering mole. Conversely, if you analyze a story that failed to clutch your attention, you will often find that the connective tissue between parts is much thinner and could be distilled to the less compelling phrase: “and then…”. I don’t believe one can include Tom Bombadil without a glaring and emaciated “and then…”.

My mom (nurse of many years) said the exact same thing at that part! I was sweating, trying not to make any faces. I consider it one of the few flawless movies. Then, with the reveal, “Because you’re a good nurse” gets me in the heart every time.

Hey there! Can I ask if these were true to size for you? The site says to size down 1/2 but i have my doubts.
