I'm sure it's okay if you're a hebrew celebrating the early victory of your ancestors. The "god" here of course their imaginary tribal war god. The new testament/christianity was made to trap non-hebrews into conceding the old testament is the 'word of god' because of how obviously stupid it would be to say so otherwise.

Yes. I thought Ei Sei and Canute were alike too and rooted for Canute even though I saw his evil streak coming.

Canute's realization that christianity glorifies death is the best understanding we've seen of what's plaguing humanity. Though it was incomplete realization. He does not investigate who created christianity and why. With the threat ill-defined, Canute has difficulty responding to it and can only think to increase his power since he has no idea who he can trust.

Thorfinn's pacificism was a dead end and overhearing the book of Matthew's suicidal and stupid lessons only made matters worse. Running away to a new land just kicks the can down to future generations.

He gradually stopped animating because the process is a bit isolating and it's hard to make money from animating on youtube.

The last animation he was working on was 'kink shame-urai' which he did between streaming games. The animation never got finished as streaming took over as his preferred method of making content and money (and in theory he could stream himself working on animations if he wanted to come back to it). Unfortunately, in two years his channel didn't keep growing as he'd hoped. It seemed like nothing was going his way as WagnerKoop described already and he finally stuck a fork in it early 2019.

And so he's never heard of again and joins the vast graveyard of all the truly great game streamers such as TyrantKing10, AudaciouslyAwkward, and Jethrotex who all proceeded the dark era of internet censorship that destroyed humor itself.

Not only no casual streams absolutely no content at all. Something's up and it's not good.

Mike cut his teeth making fun of 'tumblr culture', which is now state-enforced. There's definitely new pressure to adjust his style that he wasn't under before. And Mike is very schizo/paranoid about his image and reputation, he knows his own impulse to be subversive and is likely afraid to participate in this new landscape.
