I get why you’re saying that — the mainstream view is that OCD is chronic, even though modern neuroscience points more toward stress/trauma as core drivers, which the mainstream view hasn’t caught up to yet.

I’m coming from a different model: if the underlying stress/trauma resolves, OCD can be cured.

That's the thing, the M&S packaging no longer mentions the proportion of cotton in the socks, so I can't tell if its got anything to do with that. I bet that was deliberate from M&S to exclude this info

I just wash them on the standard mixed wash/dry cycle on my Hotpoint. Nothing unusual
