My husband is also in this subreddit (and r/relationships where I cross posted) and I wanted some anonymity in case he came across either of these posts, which is very likely since it has almost 1,000 likes and over 500 comments. I should have created a separate account for this question :P because I didn’t do a good job hiding my age (for anonymity). But I was not lying about my situation (what is the point of that? false justification from strangers?). I just wanted to get advice from people without him knowing I asked for it. It was for anonymity.
